Fishing Information

Fawcett Lake 2011 Fish Regulations:

Walleye - limit 3 over 50 cm
Pike - limit 3 over 63 cm
Perch - limit 15
Lake Whitefish - limit 10
Burbot - limit 10

The portion north and east of a line drawn from the MD boat launch in SE12-73-26-W4 to the point of land in SE11-73-26-W4 including the Mink River, Fawcett (Howard) River and the areas locally known as the narrows and east basin OPEN July 1 to Feb. 28 and CLOSED Mar. 1 to June 30. The remainder of the lake OPEN May 20 to Mar. 31 and CLOSED Apr. 1 to May 19. All tributaries and outlet CLOSED Nov. 1 to May 31.

Group Areas: (Fits up to 10 Units + Tents): $140.00 + GST
Tenting Area: $18.00 / Vehicle
Cabins: $120.00 / night for two adults, children 15 and younger are free. ($20.00 for every person thereafter) + GST
Firewood: $5.00 / Large Bundle
Boat Launch: $5.00 / Entire Stay
Boat Rentals: $25.00 / hour $160.00 / 8 hours

Our Location

We are located 2 1/2 hours North of Edmonton, Alberta. Up Highway #44 through Smith Alberta, 3km West and 13km North on the West Fawcett Lake road.
