  • Camping: (No hook ups): $19.00 + GST
  • Group Areas: (Fits up to 10 Units + Tents): $140.00 + GST
  • Tenting Area: $18.00 / Vehicle
  • Cabins: $120.00 / night for two adults, children 15 and younger are free. ($20.00 for every person thereafter) + GST
  • Firewood: $5.00 / Large Bundle
  • Boat Launch: $5.00 / Entire Stay
  • Boat Rentals: $25.00 / hour  $160.00 / 8 hours

Welcome Back!

A warm welcome goes out to all you campers, boaters, fisherman, quadders and nature lovers.

We are excited to open for the 2011 Season. It has been a long winter and we are pleased to get the summer season going. We have been extremely busy getting everything in place and have made quite a few changes to the grounds and our cabins. We look forward to seeing everyone soon!

Resort Services

  • Come and camp with us from May 15th through to October 15th and take in the great fishing, bird watching, hiking, quading, cycling and fresh air.
  • Or come and stay in our Four Season Cabins for a more convenient get away, equipped with two bedrooms, kitchenette, living area, toilet, outdoor fire pit, barbecue and satellite television.
  • Our on site convenience store is open from May 20th — October 23th for fishing supplies, forgotten groceries and treats of course.
  • We are a "quad friendly place" however we do have rules in place. Click here to learn more....

Fawcett Lake 2011 Fish Regulations:
  • Walleye - limit 3 over 50 cm
  • Pike - limit 3 over 63 cm
  • Perch - limit 15
  • Lake Whitefish -  limit 10
  • Burbot - limit 10
The portion north and east of a line drawn from the MD boat launch in SE12-73-26-W4 to the point of land in SE11-73-26-W4 including the Mink River, Fawcett (Howard) River and the areas locally known as the narrows and east basin OPEN July 1 to Feb. 28 and CLOSED Mar. 1 to June 30. The remainder of the lake OPEN May 20 to Mar. 31 and CLOSED Apr. 1 to May 19. All tributaries and outlet CLOSED Nov. 1 to May 31.

We are located 2 1/2 hours North of Edmonton, Alberta.  Up Highway #44 through Smith Alberta, 3km West and 13km North on the West Fawcett Lake road.
